The Alma Arms has been in the same family hands since March 1970, the building dates back to 1731 and some original features still exist in the main bar.
We have been serving a full menu since 1970 so rest assured we know our business. We pride ourselves on fresh plain home cooking, prepared daily by our chefs who are trained in house so you can be sure of consistency.
Our bar staff are friendly and helpful and we like to make your visit an enjoyable one.
The Alma is surrounded by three

We specialise in "Last Minute" Large party bookings in our new Victorian Conservatory for Clubs, Birthday parties and small Wedding Parties up to 40 people, we regret no children under 14. We serve a choice 3 course menu
or Hot and Cold Buffet (We do not
take bookings for Friday and
Saturday evenings or Sundays.)
